This is a slightly more intriguing matchup than these Thursday games have been thus far, don’t be mistaken, it’s still on paper a one-sided affair that could only be lost if one team decides to completely phone it in, but, the way the season has gone makes this an interesting matchup nonetheless.

Dustin: Bengals- The Philadelphia Eagles 2012 season has largely been a bigger disappointment than Dwight Howard on the Lakers. This is an Eagles team that benched Michael Vick, lost LeSean McCoy and DeSean Jackson to injury and has a secondary comprised of some of the most overpaid half-assers I’ve seen in a long time. The Bengals are still fighting for a spot in the playoffs, something the Eagles kissed goodbye over a month ago. Andy Dalton and A.J. Green are one of the best QB/WR tandems in the league; teams know it’s coming but it still can’t be stopped. Green has had a few down weeks lately but a trip to Philly could be exactly what he needs to help lead the Bengals back to the postseason. Bengals – 28, Eagles – 17.

Cameron: Bengals – The Eagles easily could have started their campaign of tanking for a high draft pick last week against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Surprisingly they didn’t. Whether this was because Nick Foles was actually trying so the Eagles wouldn’t draft a QB next year or the Bucs really just suck that much, is definitely up for question. The Bengals on the other hand will most likely be playing desperate football tonight, meaning they’re going to pass and run all over the horrendous Eagles defense.  The Law Firm Benjarvus Green-Ellis, who has produced quietly at a top-tier lever behind 974 yards and five touchdowns, will carve up the puny baby-men that the Eagles have in their backfield. Bengals – 28, Eagles – 13.
