Behind stellar performances from Chris Paul and Blake Griffin, the Los Angeles Clippers clinched their first ever division title in franchise history with a, 109-95, victory on their home court(?) in Los Angeles over the Los Angeles Lakers. There was a lot of Los Angeles in this game.

Paul had 24 points, five rebounds and 12 assists while Griffin dropped 24 points, 12 rebounds and five assists. The Guard and Forward tandem shined posting almost mirrored statistics. Kobe Bryant had a double-double with 25 points and 10 rebounds and Dwight Howard scored 25 points.

The Clippers tied the game on a Jamal Crawford Three with 1:32 left in the first quarter. On the ensuing Lakers possession Pau Gasol was stripped under the basket by Paul, who hit Griffin with an outlet pass, who in turn hit, ex-Laker, Matt Barnes with an alley-oop, to put the Clippers up 25-23 and Lob City never looked back, leading the game throughout.

The Clip-clips look to use this incredible season in hopes of an NBA Championship. With teams like the Thunder, Heat, Spurs, Grizzles, and more recently the Knicks in the way of that dream it shall be an intriguing playoffs in the NBA.
